GCC expatriates study

Post Posted: Sat Mar 30, 2013 10:55 am

Dear expatriates,

I am working with Dr Akram Al Ariss (ESC Toulouse) and Professor Chris Brewster (Henley Business School) on a study over expatriates in the GCC.

This study explores how expatriate managers perceive local managers and, more broadly, business relations in the Gulf region. In this regard, it is the first study to offer a comprehensive understanding of the subject from the expatriate perspective in the Gulf region. Understanding expatriates’ perceptions helps to better attract them, retain them, and appreciate the challenges and opportunities they see in the region. We are currently conducting a survey and asking expatriates in 6 Arab countries to participate by completing it. These countries are: Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Iraq. We take this opportunity to invite expatriates of these 6 countries to participate in the survey by following this link:
akramalariss.com/?page_id=935

The identities and organizations of those responding will not be disclosed to any third party and will only be used in aggregate.

Many thanks for your participation

Kind regards
