Ryan v Ejet

In a turnaround, i.e. EasyJet following Ryan with all all their little booking catches, this time
Ryan are following EJ.
Only the first 90 punters with Ryan regulation sized luggage will be allowed to take it onboard,
The remainder may have to put their hand baggage into the hold.
Obviously to ensure your hand baggage stays with you then one must go for priority seating/ early boarding. Naturally paying the appropriate fee.
Depending on your route it would not be advisable to leave anything of value within your hand baggage. Very difficult to prove if its stolen!

Do you have a link for that, recently booked a couple of Ryanair flights but didn't see that working my way through the opt in & out booking procedures

Thanks, yes I'd found that just thought it might have been a new T&C when booking, my wife doesn't like flying at the best of times so solo with Ryanair prefer not to give her any issues to contend with and don't really see how you can guarantee hand luggage in cabin whether you book priority boarding or a seat, as it's free she might actually prefer to be near back of queue then she doesn't have to contend with placing luggage in overhead lockers, just need to find that ideal handbag now that comply with measurements

Just arrived back in Edinburgh via Ryanair ex Faro.

What I observed was:- At the departure gate some people did have oversized hand luggage
but were allowed to go through unchallenged although some tried and failed by forcing it into the test cage. When we left the gate and proceeded to near the foot of the planes boarding steps, then various guys arrived and immediately grabbed the hand luggage of selected people with pretty bulky hand baggage. This was taken around the plane and put in the hold. Did not see anyone object. I guess at the other end the baggage would just come out as usual with the rest of the hold baggage.

What about valuables and breakable items? medicine, etc...
I put things in my hand luggage that I don't want unknown people to handle.
But I do make sure it's within regulation size and weight, to avoid what Tombo observed.
