Post Posted: Mon Sep 01, 2014 7:35 pm

We have several retirement complexes/care homes for sale or lease in different areas of the costas of Spain. Please check our web site for details. www.kei-homes.com or this link for one of them: www.kei-homes.com/inve...s-complex/

You have to be very wealthy to live in these complexes!

I thought people who live in the Marbella district were rich!! Actually extranjero, I think the reason for your comment is that maybe the community fees are too expensive, yes?

These complexes offer personal care , nursing care, meals according to your degree of dependency.
Also there is maintenance of the area , social activities etc.
This all comes at a price which is probably far beyond the budget of the average expat.

extranjero. Thank you for your comments. It seems that you are the only one who wants to contribute to this thread although I was hoping to get a lot more response.

The reason of setting up this thread was to see if people in and around Marbella might be interested in a retirement development right on their doorstep and get feedback to establish if its worth considering investing in this project. It doesn't mean it has to be a care home as such but maybe a complex offering the same sort of services as the retirement complex in Benalmadena which is a complex for the over 55's where people either purchase an apartment or rent.

It might be possible to set this elder care facility up in the same way with people purchasing or renting the rooms as studio apartments, a bit like the bedsit I started with when I left home many years ago.

This would surely help the average expat as prices would be a lot cheaper.
