A quicker way to learn French

Hi there!

If you're planning a move to a French-speaking country or visit one on a regular basis, and you want to improve your language skills, then Lingvist might be a good fit for you.

Lingvist is an online language learning tool built by people with background from CERN (Higgs boson project) and Skype. We’re developing a super-efficient and speedy way to learn languages.

Tests that we have run with Institut Francais show that vocabulary acquisition with Lingvist is already about 4.5 times faster compared to the best competitor. BUT we are still in development and testing mode (public beta), so we're not widely promoting the software nor charging anyone for using it.

We’re looking for people who would have a reason to learn French fast (because of planned relocation) or English-speakers who have already moved to a French-speaking country. We'd be very happy if you gave Lingvist a try and provided us with feedback of your learning experience.

You will be able to brush up your French and try out a new innovative education tool. If you're interested, sign up for free at https://lingvist.io/en

Thanks!
Ellen

(You can read more about the methodology and how Lingvist differs from other language learning tools at https://lingvist.io/features )

Hello Ellen

Even though I live in Scotland, I would love to relocate to France but in the meantime, I am visiting friends in September and I have just tried Lingvist and I am enjoying it, thank you.

Regards

Linda

hello, I found Lingvist quite good for learning french. I like the way it asks me to memorize words. While I think it could be better if it could give me the meaning of the sentence where each words in so that I could understand better.

Great suggestion! I will take a look at it. Currently I mostly use duolingo app which is great! I also attend meet up so I can talk and meet french people. For me being surrounded by french people is the fastest way to learn Smile But apps help me to have more vocabulary so it's good too.
