It's important to note that about two thirds of Cayman's 55,000 residents are expats (i.e. immigrants and transients), so the circumstances or expat-ship here are rather different from lots of places. I'll be glad to answer questions from hopeful residents. (I'm an ExpatFocus columnist, and my columns are quite a good place to learn some basics about these Islands.)
