Working in Bulgaria

Post Posted: Sun Aug 02, 2015 11:44 pm

Hello All,

I'm new to this forum, I've been researching upon moving to Bulgaria for a few months now... Absolutely loving the idea and can't wait until we move next year...

Now I am struggling in one area of Bulgaria. Employment.... I myself am a Mechanical Engineer by Trade (UK Certified) but when I search for jobs in Bulgaria i get next to nothing, I've took a look at agencies but once again I can hardly find any.

I have used google translate to translate Mechanical Engineer jobs into Bulgarian with no luck and also I have searched Engineering Recruitment Agencies in Bulgarian with no luck.

Now i know it's a long shot but does anyone over there that has maybe moved from the UK heard of any job prospects that are good for Engineers ?

Thanks
Jason

I know a Bulgarian citizen who earns about £45 per week working as a Mechanical Engineer in Vidin. He is considering moving to Germany where he can earn a higher wage with longer term prospects.

Mechanical Engineers don't go looking for employment in Bulgaria.

Very little by way of employment for expats in Bulgaria. Maybe better to set up helping expats with problems covered by your expertise?
