fact finding trip

Post Posted: Sat Sep 12, 2015 7:41 am

hello! I am new here and looking for information. My husband and I will be coming to CR the last week of November, through the first week of December 2015. The purpose of this trip is two fold. A little vacation and fact finding mission as we are seriously considering moving to CR upon retirement. We will split our time with Playa del Coco and Tamarindo, flying in and out of Liberia. We found a hotel in each place, but maybe someone can recommend something. We have been pouring over every bit of information that we have been able to read, ie. Blogs, forums etc. I am sure there is more information you have on moving from the states, example where to go and not to. we plan to purchase a house when we make the move, would like to be with epats and gated community. Perhaps we can meet for drinks or coffee when we are there. this is a real leap for us and we want to make sure our heads are screwed on right. We want the true pros and cons and expectations. Thank you. Susan
