importing a car to Mexico
Subforums: Property for Sale/Rent
We will be importing a car this fall into Mexico...
Mexican Consulates in Canada do not give any info on the subject but directs clients to the internet...!
The info on the web is sketchy to say the least. We gathered a fair bit so far, but did not see any recent posts anywhere, hence a question: is there anyone out there who imported a car recently, i.e. within last year? The rules are constantly changing and the customs costs went up significantly, hence it would be helpful to find out about someone's RECENT experience. Also - does anyone know a helpful and experienced Mexican Customs Broker - anywhere on the US/Mexico border? Your input, if you have any, will be greatly appreciated!
