Citizenship &Taxation

Post Posted: Tue Jan 24, 2017 7:21 pm

I would appreciate help answering the following questions:
1) Is it possible to become a full-time resident of Antigua and Barbuda without obtaining citizenship?
2) If one does become a citizen must you also obtain a passport. According to what I read on the government website obtain passports for my spouse and myself would cost US$100,000.
3) If I become a full-time resident who does not work, will I be taxed on the retirement income (such as pensions, IRAs, and 401-k type plans) I receive from the U.S.?

Kate,

I have found nothing on my own and, as you can see, yours is the first reply to my query.
