Coming Egypt next week for Internship

Post Posted: Wed Jul 12, 2017 1:28 pm

Hi all, I'd be coming to Egypt next week hopefully for my 6-8 weeks unpaid internship and as a good will ambassador for a social cause (women empowerment).
I have few questions if you guys can answer.
I am being provided with residence at Maadi.

Q1) How is the neighborhood Madi? My location would be 233 street, Dagla Madi.

Q2) What should be the expenses of food? As food and transport for sight seeing is on me. (I dont drink).

Q3) Would love to meet and have a chat with any English speaking expat? or even locals.

Any further suggestions would be more than appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

HELLO Muhammed , life in maadi is so quiet , regarding your questions
1 - neighborhood : People are so kind there and you will find everything there
Markets ( Saudi market - is the best choice ) - Restaurants - Metro station
2- There is many fast food also you can buy and cook so it will be good for you , also transportation will depend on you destination but generally it's okay.
3- We can meet in maadi also i am now in Alexandria and i am inviting you to visit on of the best cities in Egypt , it's just 10 AED cost from cairo .
