Moving to Italy: the real deal

Post Posted: Wed Jul 26, 2017 11:04 am

Hi

My name is Stef Smulders and I moved to Italy in 2008 to start a bed and breakfast south of Milan. I wrote a book about my experiences, Living in Italy, that has won a few rewards and received good reader reviews since its publication last year. For those interested, see the sneak preview at http://italiaanse-toestanden.duepadroni.it/index-UK.html

"The book is a comical, often downright hilarious account" - Reader's Favorite Five Stars Review ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
"Smulders storytelling artistry is wildly entertaining." - Blogcritics and Readerviews five stars review ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Hi Stef,
I just purchased your book off Amazon and can't wait to read it. My wife and I will be heading to Bologna in July and will be checking out communities in the Emilio - Romano area. Are you in that administrative area? We're planning on moving to Italy when she retires.

Hi Charles,

Great, hope you enjoy it and then still have the courage to buy a house in Italy Wink

We are not close to Bologna no, about 2 hours west straight south from Milan actually.
If you arrive by car from northern Europe you pass closeby however, on the A21, Broni-Stradella exit. You're welcome to pay us a visit if you want.

Let me know what you think about the book!

Cari saluti
Stef

Thanks Stef. I'm looking forward to reading it. Probably won't get up your way this time though.
