Royal Mail & GLS

Having problems with GLS claiming they attempted delivery but you were out or the address was incorrect, parcel returned to UK, absolutely useless customer service from both Royal Mail and GLS?
Try sending an email to one or all of these senior management at Royal Mail, I did and received a reply within the hour from the Chairman & Chief Executive's Office.

A barrage of complaining emails from dissatisfied customers might help us get a reliable service.

Thanks for that geefis. So they are not getting any better then? I've had so many problems with them in the past that I try to avoid them whenever possible. At least now we have some more contact points.

Just had nearly the same experience , there site stated that they tried to deliver on the 2-3-4 off August but my office was closed & they left a notification in my Post Box
Complete & utter BS !
GLS's driver never even tried to deliver as I was in on all 3 day's
I also complained to Royal Mail & received a reply informing me to complain to GLS !!!
I finally did get my delivery ,but it took them 31 days from posting.

My most recent with them was trying to send a parcel to the UK. I used a parcel wholesaler who unfortunately allocated the job to GLS. I was going away, so left the parcel with two elderly friends as I knew they never left home.
Monday, GLS claimed that they called at the house and were told the parcel was not ready yet. Absolute BS.
Wednesday, the excuse was that there was nobody at home. More BS as, not only were my friends in, but their cleaning lady was there all day too.
Friday, they claimed that they called and were told the order had been cancelled as the delivery was no longer required. My flabber was completely gasted at yet more BS from them.
How this excuse for a carrier remains in business I do not understand.
