Planning to visit Italy
Subforums: Property for Sale/Rent
I am planning to visit Italy in early 2018. I am planning to cover Genova, Milan, Verona, Bolgona & Florence in 12 days. How feasible is this itinerary?
Also, what would be the best mode of transport? I would prefer to get a self-drive car. Will Indian driving license be accepted to rent a car there?
I think your plan is rather realistic. You can stay in every city for 3-4 days and they are not too far from each other. I think renting car is the best idea. I have driven to different cities in Europe for several times and it is really enjoyable. I think you will also like it.
Have a look at this list; Florence. There are the top attractions to see in Florence. If you have time, you can also visit the Pisa as it is close to Forence.
I can't say surely but I think your Indian passport will not create any problems. I am from Armenia and I have never had a problem with renting cars in Europe.
Hope you find my info useful
