couple of questions

Post Posted: Wed Feb 28, 2018 1:28 pm

Hi again I hope you don't mind me nagging you for information! the OH was just chatting to someone about Portugal and she said to him that she didn't like Portugal because of all the drugs. Is this a huge problem in Portugal?

In Spain the dogs bark incessantly, is this this same in Portugal? Many thanks.

We're coming for a 3 week holiday soon and I can't wait!!

Most dogs in England don't bark as bad as dogs in Spain. Are they as bad in Portugal?

Portugal has an unusual attitude to drugs but in my area at least, it doesn't seem to be a problem at all but I'd suspect they might be more of a problem in the big cities.

Portugal does seem to be famous or more accurately infamous for it's barking dogs & church bells but it is what it is & you get used to it.......... Personally, I now like the bells and I've got the barking dogs well & truly beaten with my 3 geese! Bwahahahahahahaha!

Lol. Constant barking dogs are a nuisance, but I've looked at the temperature in Faro as I watch a blizzard scud across the window...

Drug situation is serious in the bigger cities, and a few smaller ones.
It depends which ones you're looking for.

Dogs can be chained anywhere, and there's nothing to stop a neighbor from doing that. It's just a matter of luck.

We're not intending to live in a city, we prefer to be a bit more rural. A neighbour said when she went to Portugal, drug pushers were harassing her son at the airport.
