I get packages to my Apartado almost weekly from the UK BUT the items are always under 2kgs in weight and are do not require a signature. If it were one or both of these, it would be by courier. I have my telephone number as part of my address under the Apartado number, before the town, and I do get calls and meet the courier in front of the Post Office. I may be incorrect, but I understand the PO employees are not allowed to sign for parcels on behalf of the receiver

Yes, an Apartado is a PO Box number. You will find clusters of these boxes at the end of roads in rural areas or at the Post Office (Correiro).

I put my GPS coordinates on the address too.
It even worked once; but that guy was too smart to work for that wage for long.

We regularly order from Amazon and many other internet sites. We live in Portimão but we always have our parcels sent to Andover. There is a company here who collects from there once a week and brings everything over here to their depot in Porches. So you can order with confidence from Amazon or Asda etc. Check out their site here: directtransport.net/

They will deliver if you wish or you can collect, as we do, yourself.

Hi All

Going of topic. I had a parcel sent via UPS from the UK and from leaving the UPS depot i tracked it to my house. It took 59 hours 18 minutes beating the previous best of 66 hours now that's a service i am more than happy with.
