If you buy one, have a word with the person selling & ask them to help with the required procedures
The last car I brought ,The Dealer, delivered it to my door with ALL paper work completed !

Hi
We're off to Portugal soon and want to pick a car up at Faro airport. The problem is is that neither me or my husband have a credit card and all the car hire companies i've looked at seem to want a credit card to swipe in case of damage etc.
Is there a way around this - will the car hire companies accept debit cards?
Any help or advice is much appreciated, thank you

Hi just to say we are now owners of a Portuguese vehicle & thanks to all the advice it was not as bad as we were expecting, we had to go to Pombal the other side of Lisbon which wasn't so bad as it meant we made a weekend out of it & had time out from building which was most def needed. So once again thank you for the advice very much appreciated.
