This is the only thread for Sweden!!! I just had to answer you.
I don't have so much info at the moment, but I'd like to recommend another forum on Sweden which seems very active:

I imagine it can be difficult over there because lot of Swedes are very reserved and it's not that easy to get to know people in the beginning. Once you do, they are very friendly though, but it takes time. What are you doing there, working, studying?
There are lots of things you can do that cost very little or are free even. You can reach lots of places by Pendeltåg or Tunnelbana at a very low cost. Get some tourist information book or brochures and make excursions all over the place, if you are there for a limited time there is no time to lose! You'll get to see the change of seasons later on, summer , autumn and winter with all the different festivities. Museums in Stockholm usually have a day when you can enter for free and libraries are for free as well, they should have literature in English and other languages. I am not presuming that you are poor, but it's nice to get things at a good price or for free :-). In the autumn you'll have the Stockholm International Film Festival coming up, I used to love going there to see films all night long.
I miss my country, especially now that temperatures are above 45 in the UAE...

I hear it can take 5 years before Swedes really warm up to you. I've been here since October and am lucky that my fiance's friends and family treat me like friends and family. Our neighbors are great too. You can make friends at Swedish class because everyone is lonely like you.
