Nutritional Medicine Student looking for case studies

Post Posted: Thu May 18, 2006 9:12 pm

Hello,

I moved over from NE Scotland last year and am living in a wee village, Groot-Ammers, right on the River Lek, across from Schoonhoven. I'm currently doing a degree in Nutritional Medicine and as part of my course I have to interview a set amount of people and take their medical case histories and then provide a dietary and supplement prescription, bearing in mind this is only an exercise and does not lead on to treatment. My problem is I don't know anyone here and its far better to interview people in person. Therefore, I am looking for help from people in my locale who have current medical conditions which they would normally visit their GP about. It could be anything, e.g. allergies, digestive problems, circulatory, etc. The consultation would last for and hour and a half and I take a full medical case history from you, from birth right through to present day, your typical day's food and fluid intake and a weekend day's food and fluid intake and any other lifestyle factors. I then interpret this info and devise a dietary and supplement plan. All the information is then emailed to my tutor for marking. Please note all the information given is held confidential.

So, if you'd be willing to meet somewhere near me to be a case history for me, then please could you email me with basic details and I'll get back to you. I'm hoping to start this weekend/next week if at all possible.

Thank you!

I'm still looking out for some help with this. I can send you info by email and it can be done this way rather than meeting in person. Any offers to help would be appreciated. Thanks.
