Turkey versus Bulgaria

Post Posted: Sun Jul 09, 2006 5:17 am

From: homes overseas, magazine August 2006, says:

Bulgaria has seen enormous investment and an increase in visitor numbers since it was acceptepted into the EU. Membership begins in 2007 and many are expecting to see the former Eastern Bloc country really take off. Property prices along with the vsitor numbers have soared over the past few years with average rises of around 25 per cent but costs still remain far below those of other European countries.

Amar Sohdi of Avatar International says that he sees more growth opportunity in Bulgaria than Turkey over the next few years as demand increases. " I expect price rises to be greater in Bulgaria as the areas of interest are much smaller. This affects demand and supply and ultimately, prices."
