Post Posted: Sun Jul 09, 2006 7:57 am

Hi everyone
Does anyone know how to go about looking for work in the Granada area? (any work will do)
Is there a local jobcentre (not even sure if they have these in spain) or are there work agents over there for english people who don't speak spainish (we are trying just not getting on to well!!)
Any info would be fab

Granada is in the center of Spain, if you cant speak adequate spanish or arn't there studing spanish, then forget it. Its not the costas where everyone speaks english.

Everything is conducted in spanish, the majority of locals have just started to learn english in the tourist areas only. and No there are not special arrangements for "english" people.!

Walk into a bar in the tourist areas and ask it they need staff - thats about the only choice, or in the hotels to see if they need chambermaids/waitresses.
