US retirees in Costa del Sol

Post Posted: Sat Sep 09, 2006 9:48 pm

Hi all,
My husband and I are looking for other US retirees living in the Nerja area. We'd like to stay for 6 months to experience Spain before making a decision on retirement. We have vacationed in Southern Spain before and liked the Costa del So area very much. We used to live in Costa Rica and know that it's important to live for a period to really decide...vacations are totally different aren't they Ha! Ha! So, we are very much interested in information on requirements for min. 6 months stay with the Visa, medical ins. costs, and the pros and cons living in Spain Very Happy . It's easy to gather info. if you are from the UK but, nothing for US. Thanks in advance, Vicki Smile
