Keyholding / Cleaning Service

Post Posted: Mon Sep 18, 2006 1:08 pm

Hi ALL

I have a few questions I wonder if anyone can help me with,We are considering establishing a keyholding / cleaning service on a new development near Murcia. The questions are,

1.Do we need any kind of insurance?.
2.Do we need to have any contracts made with the owners?.
3.Laundry doing this ourselves V a laundry company?.
4.Can you run a keyholding service from your property.

The laundry question do you know of a laundry company that is located in the Murcia region, that we could contact.

Thanks
Davey

Use a laundry company - what happens if you decide to do it all yourselves and then get a power cut (as so often happens here in Spain) so are unable to launder bedding between lets/ready for next lot arriving same day. Even if owners supply several sets of linen you´de be surprosed how many renters find the spare sets and decide to use it all during their stay - happened to us many times!!!

Insurance and contracts essential.
