Life and work in Caribbean/Barbados

Post Posted: Thu Oct 19, 2006 6:15 pm

Hi,

I'm looking at moving/working in construction in this region. I'd love to hear from anyone who's done so and how they are getting along. What is the construction life like and what about sports/exercise and that sort of thing.

All replies much appreciated.

Kind regards,
Russell. Smile

If you're looking for construction work you should check out St Lucia (quite a few new resorts starting building soon). best thing to do is always check out major hotel websites like RitzCarlton, Hyatt etc as they announce new projects and you can find out where all the builds are.

as for life out here - cant be beat!

Thanks for your comments. I've an interview for the Turks and Caicos coming up in a few weeks and just had an email about work in Trinidad also.

The West Indies (where you are now judging by your avatar) are fine but what about Trinidad as a place to live and work?

Both jobs are Construction Management/Supervision.

Cheers!
