Awaiting LMO decision - Whats your expeirence

Post Posted: Sat Oct 21, 2006 6:10 pm

We are currently awaiting an LMO decision out of Alberta - Hubby has a job in Lethbridge Alberta.

Anyone have any experience of how long this may take as here various stories such as 2.5 weeks and months

Hi Gay

We are actually living in Ontario and waiting for hubby's LMO out of Alberta. It has been about 7 1/2 weeks since it was submitted. The company have tried to ring them several times but have never managed to speak to a "human voice". We tried this week and there was an automated message saying that they have received a high volume of applications and not to basically call back until your application has been in for 8 weeks.

The immigration lawyer who submitted our papers said processing times are between 8-10 weeks from the date they receive it.

The 2.5 weeks is not a usual time scale for any LMO's as far as I have read from various websites.
