Hi Bigjon,
I don't know if you are still interested, my reply comes a bit late, but I hope you still get some usefull information. I'm in Accra, Ghana since 2003 now. There are international schools in Accra, the capital. I don't know about other parts of the country, but I guess you can find some in the bigger cities. Food can be cheap or very expensive, depending on what you like. The local food, which you can buy everywhere on the street, is very cheap, you can get a satisfied stomach for under 1 Euro. But if you need european food or by force want a pizza, you have to pay more or the same as in europa. There are a lot of expats around here, specially in the constraction industry or working in projects. The locals are very friendly. Airlines depend on the departure. From London, Ghana International Airlines is flying cheap. From Germany you can fly with Antrak Air Ghana. But also better known Airlines like Emirates, BA, KLM and Lufthansa fly to Accra nearly daily.
Greetings
Barbara
