how much to have swimming pool built?

Post Posted: Fri Dec 08, 2006 9:17 pm

hi just wondered on whether anyone knew how much it would cost to have a swimming pool built approx 3x6 metres and/or a nice bbq area. How hard would it be to obtain planning permission for this. All info would be helpful, thanks

IVE been quoted 5000 GBP for a pool this size, It not so much the size as the equipment that runs the pool Pumps, heaters, lights, filters these are the things that are pretty expensive. And although a very nice addition to you villa it would make. Please bear in mind we have quite a short summer over here so is it really justified. Your better of getting a hot tub you can use this all year round And its great when theres snow about.

I would snap it up at that price, mine, admitedly its 9.5 x 5 x 1.5, but it cost around 13500euro, but you don't need planning permision for any pool smaller than 100m3 in size.
Try Aquatec, www-ro.aquatec-bg.com/...1&9831 do really nice hot tubs too.
There's a good piece on pools on here, britsinbulgaria.org/fo...pic=962.45

Hot tubs at the Plovdiv show were around €8,000. And the nice thing about hot tubs is that they don't have to be filled in when you're fed up with them
