Budgetting - household furniture prices in Dubai

Post Posted: Mon Jan 15, 2007 5:42 pm

If you are moving out to Dubai and want to get a feel for how much it will cost to set up house, look no further than your future local Ikea store.

Whilst you may or may not wish to buy stuff from there, they have a downloadable catalogue giving prices in local currency.

Excellent when trying to budget !!!

Cool - an online catalogue. Hmm.... So next time my Mrs says "Oh, we could just "nip" round Ikea before we head back.." I can say "No - Stop right there! 2020 says you don't need to go ever again because you can view it all from this here link......"

On behalf of the male population of the Middle East, My son and myself particularly, I thank you for your contribution to our weekends!!

Seriously, that’s a great idea to gives people a good ballpark to budget from before arrival. The main chain, local stores like "The One", "Home Centre" "2XL" and "Homes R Us" are similar prices to Ikea in general, some cases a bit cheaper.

Happy days
