Andorra - Business Culture
Andorra has a fairly formal business culture. Appointments should be made in advance, and punctuality is important. Normal office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays to Fridays, with some offices closing at 3 p.m. in the summer. Some companies also work on Saturday mornings.
Business meeting are usually quite formal and are more likely to be held in the mornings; afternoons can be relatively relaxed, with the lunch break starting after 1.30 p.m. and often extending well into the afternoon.
Normal business attire for meetings is a formal suit, preferably with a white shirt and black shoes. Women should also dress conservatively. Handshakes are the normal form of greeting.
While on your business trip to Andorra, make the most of the tax-free benefits on offer here. Most of the entertainment is free, and it is relatively cheap to dine out in first-class restaurants. Last but not least, don't forget your duty-free purchases!
