International Women's Club of Copenhagen

The International Women's Club of Copenhagen provides the opportunity for expatriates and women native to Denmark to establish friendships. Monthly meetings and social events put you in touch with women living in the Copenhagen area. Although the IWC is comprised of expatriates, our intent is not to shut ourselves away from the Danes, but rather to help each other adapt and gain a better understanding of the Danish lifestyle and mentality. Our Danish members and visitors make this process easier. We have set monthly meetings that include a guest speaker and time to socialize. Our social committees regularly organize various activities such as craft workshops, bridge, sports, languages, art and historical tours.

Anglo-Danish Society

The Anglo-Danish Society exists to promote closer understanding between the United Kingdom and Denmark by arranging lectures, outings, social gatherings and other events of interest to its members and their guests. The Society enjoys the patronage of Her Majesty the Queen and Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark. It also has the active support of the Royal Danish Embassy and a number of Danish and British companies. The Society administers scholarship funds which help Danish students to visit the UK or British students to visit Denmark for the purpose of advanced or post-graduate studies.

Ladies International Network København (LINK)

LINK is a women's expat group in the Copenhagen, Denmark area. LINK was founded in 1973 to provide a social network for English-speaking expats from all countries. We hold monthly meetings and organize a variety of programs covering a wide range of interests. Some events appeal to the entire family, for example picnics and seasonal parties. Others, such as coffee mornings - a regular feature - provide a good opportunity to meet other women in the area. We sponsor cultural visits such as guided city walks to help members learn more about Denmark. There are plenty of activities in both day and evening.

Danish-UK Chamber of Commerce

The Danish-UK Chamber of Commerce (DUCC) was initially set up to enhance the Anglo-Danish marketplace through networking. To this day, the aim of the DUCC remains to promote trade and investment between Denmark and the UK by providing companies from both countries with a dynamic and pro-active business forum in the UK. The DUCC’s core mission is “to promote business, trade and investment between Denmark and the UK to the benefit of our members.”

Copenhagen International Rotary Club

CIRC has the distinction of being the only Rotary Club in Copenhagen to conduct business in the English language. Our members are either expatriates working in Denmark, or Danish citizens in international jobs. We have both male and female members. Copenhagen Rotary Club is committed to many of the activities of Rotary International. For several years we have been an active partner in the GSE (Group Study Exchange) programme for young business people, where we have hosted guests from countries such as Japan, South Africa, West Virginia and the Mid-West of the USA. Copenhagen International Rotary Club also participates in the well-known Youth Exchange program.

American Women's Club in Denmark

The AWC is a non-profit, voluntary organization that provides fun, friendship and social support to its members living permanently or temporarily in Denmark and promotes mutual understanding between the US and Denmark, particularly through philanthropic work. We raise money for annual philanthropic grants to projects in Copenhagen, tri-annual cultural awards to Americans in Denmark and tri-annual scholarships to Danes wishing to study in the United States. We encourage the American spirit of volunteerism among our membership by asking members to contribute time and energy to out fundraising and community efforts.
