The Toronto Hydro Corporation distributes electricity to the city of Toronto through a clutch of affiliate companies. Payments can be made online through the eBills route, or through the Pre-Authorized Payment Plan.
The Toronto Hydro-Electric System may require residents to submit meter readings online on occasions when the company is unable to do so. Toronto Water runs the water supply network in the city through six pumping stations in and out of the city. Residents receive a single Utility Bill from the City of Toronto that covers fees for water consumption and solid waste management. This includes services like garbage, recycling, litter prevention and landfill management. Bills are mailed to residents once in four months. Payments can be made through banks under the Pre-Authorized Utility Bill Payment Program or through epost, the online mail delivery service of Canada Post.
