Schipol, located 10km southwest of Amsterdam, is the Netherlands' main international airport, and one of the busiest European air hubs. The national airline is KLM-Royal Dutch Airlines, which operates direct routes to cities throughout Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region. Many other national airlines also fly into Schipol, including some low-cost European airlines. Approximate flight times to Amsterdam are one hour and twenty minutes from London and seven hours from New York, via London.
