Poland - Getting There
The majority of international flights serving Poland are operated by the national airline Polskie Linie Lotnicze (LOT). Other airlines flying into Poland include British Airways, American Airlines, Air France, Swissair, SAS, Lufthansa, KLM and Air Canada. There are direct flights to Warsaw from many European countries and from the US and Canada.
There are good road connections into Poland from Germany and the Czech Republic, with many immigration points, although border delays still occur. Poland also has good rail connections with surrounding countries; it is possible to enter Poland by rail direct from Berlin, Frankfurt and Budapest for example. There are also ferry routes from Scandinavia and the UK into the Polish Baltic ports of Gdansk, Gdynia and Swinoujscie.
