Even if that’s not the case, exercise is great for your health, energy and overall wellbeing. It also gets you out and about – it’s a brilliant way to start learning your way around your new home, and can be a powerful social tool, helping you meet like-minded people and start building friendships and networking circles. Gyms

There are plenty of gyms to join in Cascais, so you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Fitness Hut
This is a well-equipped modern gym which runs all kinds of fitness classes such as zumba, body combat and dance classes. They have an interesting and unique concept where you can access ‘virtual trainers’ and ‘v-classes’ in the form of videos to help with your fitness progress.

CrossFit Marginal
If you’re a CrossFit enthusiast or someone looking to take their training up a notch, check out CrossFit Marginal. It’s in an excellent location with good facilities and a great environment with friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Mr Big Evolution Gym
This is a fantastic spot if you’re a body builder or looking to get into that particular style of training, as it boasts all the weights and equipment you need to prep for physique contests. They also do highly-rated kickboxing and jiu jitsu classes.

If you’re looking for something that offers a bit more than just a gym, such as swimming, sauna and other luxuries, then take a look at some of these ideas.
