For starters, two big festivals in many countries in February are Pancake Day and St. Valentine’s Day. In her latest column, Rosemary Border Rabson talks us through these traditions in France and what you can expect if you’re living there. And in case you missed it a couple of weeks ago, take a look at our article about Valentine's Day traditions around the world. Some of our other columnists have written articles for us this week too: Maureen Moss takes us on a walk through her local park, while Chuck Bolotin finds out whether it’s really cheaper to live in Mexico.

The second discusses the Expat Archive Centre, which brings together stories of expats from around the world.

But of course, life isn’t all pancakes and intriguing stories. So much of being an expat involves the more in-depth administrative elements of settling in to your new home. Luckily we have articles to help with that too.
