The French village of La Gacilly has a population of less than 2,500 people. The small commune hugs the banks of Brittany’s Aff River. The cosmetic company Yves Rocher is based in La Gacilly.Because of the company, the village has also been credited with the fragrant Jardin Botanique De La Gacilly. This botanic garden contains 92 different varieties of flowering plants, which can be used in the production of perfumes and cosmetics. His garden is also home to 250 species of desert plants, 150 species of tropical plants, 38 species of medicinal plants and 19 species of plants that can be used as dyes. Entry to this garden is absolutely free.

Apart from this garden, other French attractions that expats in La Gacilly must experience include treatments at the Super Spa, photo festivals, walking with donkeys and renting an electric boat.
