If you’re a relatively new expat or you’re concerned about moving far from your friends and family – and especially if you’re a young person about to move away from home for the first time – Chido-Fajny will feel very relatable.

The ‘Poland Trips’ category provides updates on Joy’s travels around the country, so if you’re not yet sure which part of Poland is for you, this is a great resource to look at.

Tiffany Victoria Horan

Tiffany is an artist and teacher who moved from Britain to Poland via Taiwan. Her blog contains fairly long-form posts covering topics from teaching to food preparation to the nature of personality. The blog is cleanly laid out, with large pictures illustrating each article, and provides a nice juxtaposition of the personal, the professional and the purely philosophical.
