Chocolate is added towards the end of cooking, and this gives the sauce its characteristic rich color, and also balances the heat arising from the chili peppers. The sauce is then served over the turkey. This dish is often served at weddings and birthdays.


Embutido is a type of meatloaf that is served during the holidays in the Philippines. The original version is made from ground pork, but turkey, which is a healthier alternative, can also be used.
