Most of the information you will need as an American in New Zealand is held in this group. The members have had varied experiences of expat life and are happy to let you have the benefit of them. Meeting likeminded people and rebuilding a support structure is something that this group fosters through regular meet-ups as well as providing an open and safe place for questions and queries.

British Expats in New Zealand
Facebook Group

A place to connect and get first hand information on what life is really like for a Brit in New Zealand. Knowing the language does not necessarily mean that the transition will be easy, especially when you are starting a new life on the other side of the world from family and friends. There is no question small or silly enough that one of the three hundred strong members can’t help you with, and expect an answer complete with a healthy dose of British humour.
