At Expat Focus, we like to be on the lookout for resources around the web that could help prospective expats adjust to their new countries. Today, we’re taking a look at Serbia and some of the blogs that might be useful for expats there.

Nikoza
http://nikoza.com/

Born in Greece, Niki emigrated to Belgrade with her Serbian husband (stopping for spells in in Cacak, Smederevo, Uzice along the way). Running Nikoza, a travel blog with posts available in both English and Serbian, she uses the well-situated country as a base for her explorations both locally, in Europe and beyond.

The Standard Deviation
https://christenfarmer.wordpress.com/

Written in equal measures of healthy dose of cynicism and humor, The Standard Deviation is author Chris' podium to levy his unique world view as an American expat living in Belgrade. Discussing everything from modern thanksgiving practices to giving directions as a foreigner, this is a must read.

eBritic
http://www.ebritic.com/

An essential source of news - written in both English and Serbian - eBritic is an often updated "British Serb Magazine" linking British and Serbian natives who have traveled and lived between countries. Featuring events, opinion pieces and even blog archives eBritic is a great resource for those looking to move.

The Homegrown Nomad
https://homegrownnomad.com/

Having lived in The Dominican Republic, Kuwait, Shanghai, Guatemala, Bahrain and now Beograd in Serbia, Teacher Kelli and her family have probably seen it all and then some in their nomadic adventures. This doesn't stop their sense of wonderment, learning lessons as a global family growing up around the world or exploring around the country they have settled in. For now.

The Balkans Daily
http://www.thebalkansdaily.com/

Sharing news in English, this online magazine features an expat's corner archive well worth exploring. Authored by a team of expatriates, the articles are a wealth of experiences and musings on life in Serbia.

Jenn Martín
https://www.youtube.com/

20-year-old Jenn originally hails from Spain, but fell in love with Serbia and created her own Youtube channel to share just what captured her heart. From food to travel, her vlogs are informative and enthusiastic sources of inspiration for any new expats thinking of moving.

Living In Belgrade
http://livinginbelgrade.com/

Often updated, this English language website is a must-bookmark for expats living in Belgrade. Full of events, helpful articles and focusing on the important issues in life with sections on education, health and more, this is a good resource for and by expats.

A Yankee In Belgrade
http://yankee-in-belgrade.blogspot.co.uk/

Bibi was born in America, but has lived and worked in Serbia for over 35 years. Her blog A Yankee In Belgrade features her photography and snippets of life in this sovereign state situated at the crossroads of Central and Southeast Europe.

Enter Belgrade
https://enterbelgrade.com/

Focusing on the capital city of Serbia - the economic, university and tourist hub of Serbia - Enter Belgrade features interesting interviews of expats already living in Serbia, an excellent "basics" guide and a handy list of links for anyone thinking of migrating to the 'white city'.

We’re always on the lookout for more sites to feature - if you run a blog about living in Serbia, leave us a link in the comments and we’ll take a look!
